The CORE Edge powered by ECCO edging is an extremely durable steel border. This flexible garden edging, with a total length of 1075 mm (usable length: 1000 mm), is ideal for finishing lawns, pathways, terraces, flower beds, borders or vegetable gardens.
The border is available in 4 finishes: corten steel, galvanised steel, brown (RAL 8028), and black (RAL 9005). Each edging, except for the weathered steel (corten), is coated with a 20-micron galvanized zinc layer. The black edging is equipped with a UV-resistant polyester powder coating of 110 microns, which prevents discoloration and provides a durable, radiation-resistant layer. This ensures a guaranteed lifespan of over 20 years. The corten steel edging develops a stable rust-like appearance when exposed to the elements. The steel oxidizes, and this protective layer significantly slows the rate of future corrosion.
You can choose from three different heights: 65 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm. The edging with a height of 65 mm offers a sleek and subtle profile that seamlessly blends into the landscape. Perfect for creating subtle borders and outlining pathways with a more understated look. The height of 100 mm provides a more pronounced, noticeable border that adds a strong and defined visual impact to the outdoor space. This edging is effective for separating two surfaces, such as grass and gravel. The edging of 150 mm is perfect for built up flower beds or separating areas on different levels. Its higher visual impact creates a dramatic and defined border that stands out.
The anchoring pins feature a unique fold in the middle. This strengthens the ground anchor and makes the edging ideal for use in heavier soil. Additionally, the edging is equipped with the Dual Lock Mechanism®, consisting of two locking tabs. These tabs securely connect the lengths in both directions. For loose soil, an optional 300 mm pin can be used to ensure stability. This accessory is sold separately.
