Can Easihold be used on unwashed gravel?

Yes, Easihold can be applied to existing gravel, provided the base is properly prepared. The stones must be clean and completely dry. Dust, sand or dirt create a barrier that reduces the effectiveness of the binding. Therefore, cleaning is usually necessary.

Cleaning per situation:

• Light dirt / dust: rake loose, rinse, lightly brush, rinse again and allow to dry
• More heavily soiled (soil, algae): clean with warm water + detergent, scrub, rinse and allow to dry
• Very dirty: clean with a pressure washer (medium setting, work at an angle), then level the surface
• Moss / algae: treat with a mixture of water and vinegar, let it act, scrub and rinse

Important: the stones must be completely dry before applying Easihold.
