A-Joint® Repair is the 2-component repair mortar for restoring damaged or washed-out joints in existing paving. It also fills shallow joints from 10 mm and is trafficable again after 24 hours.
-
Shallow joints from 10 mm, without raking out
During repairs, routing out existing joints to 25 or 30 mm is often not feasible: too time-consuming, too expensive or technically impossible with delicate natural stone. A-Joint® Repair powered by ECCO works from a joint depth of 10 mm, allowing you to carry out much more shallow repairs. The fine sand structure ensures strong adhesion to the joint sides, even with narrow joints from 3 mm.
-
Strong bond between old and new joint
A repair joint is only durable if it bonds to the existing joint. A-Joint® Repair powered by ECCO is built on that bonding strength: the epoxy resin mortar bonds old and new joint material into one solid whole. Ideal for repairing frost and thaw damage where the outer centimetres have been washed out but the underlying joint is still intact.
-
Driveable again 24 hours after installation
For public roads, city squares and car parks, every day the area is closed counts. A‑Joint® Repair powered by ECCO is walkable after 6 hours and drivable after 24 hours at 20°C. With a load capacity of up to 25 tonnes and resistant to street sweepers and high‑pressure cleaners, it’s suitable for the heaviest loads in public spaces.

What do I use A-Joint® Repair powered by ECCO for?
A-Joint® Repair powered by ECCO is used to repair existing, damaged joints, not to point new paving. It is a 2-component (epoxy resin) repair mortar that bonds to the old joint.
What you use it for:
- Repair of washed-out and crumbling joints in existing paving (e.g. frost and thaw damage where the outer few centimetres are gone, but the underlying joint is still intact).
- Shallow repairs from 10 mm joint depth, where routing out to 25–30 mm is too expensive, too time-consuming or technically impossible (e.g. on sensitive natural stone).
- Narrow joints from 3 mm.
- Heavily trafficked public areas that need to reopen quickly: roads, town squares and car parks.
