- Pond edging
How do you install Metalflex?
Step 1 - Determine the layout
Determine the course of the edging using a tape measure and a string line. This forms the basis for accurate placement.
Step 2 - Bend the shape (if applicable)
This step is only needed for curved lines. Carefully bend the Metalflex into the desired shape; the cut-outs in the L-shaped base allow the edging to follow the layout.
Step 3 - Install the edging
Place the edging along the marked-out layout. Secure it in the ground by hammering the supplied nails into the base of the L-shape.
Step 4 - Connect
Connect the edging sections to each other using the supplied bolt and nut.
Optional - Extra reinforcement
For applications with heavier loads, such as along the side of a driveway, we recommend reinforcing the edging further by setting it in concrete.
